Welcome to Radius
Radius specialises in the production of contemporary opera and music theatre works.
Radius was founded in 2006 as a specialist contemporary classical chamber music ensemble based in London, United Kingdom. With a reputation for outstanding musicianship and innovative ideas, the high standard of our performances has been critically acclaimed by the national and musical press.
Radius have appeared on tour at theatres and festivals nationwide, at prestigious venues including London’s Wigmore Hall and Southbank Centre, and have given the first performances of many new works.

Who Is Radius?
Radius was founded by the composers Tim Benjamin and Ian Vine. The founder members were Daniel Rowland (violin), Oliver Coates (cello), Jennifer George (flute), Charys Green (clarinet), John Reid (piano) and Adrian Spillett (percussion).
Many notable concert artists have also performed with Radius, including Alexander Sitkovetsky (violin), Adam Walker (flute), Alexandra Wood (violin), Huw Morgan (trumpet), Sarah Watts (clarinet), Owen Gunnell (percussion), and Berenika (piano).
The current Artistic Director is Tim Benjamin.
